Maison d'Art Gallery presents the exhibition The Essence of Femininity – a meeting of two artistic worlds: Anna Bocek and Joanna Sarapata.

What exactly is femininity? For centuries, this concept has been defined from the outside through categories, images, and expectations that had little to do with women's real experiences. Meanwhile, what constitutes feminine identity eludes simple definitions: it is a mosaic of traits that at first glance seem contradictory, yet in reality complement each other.

The exhibition "The Essence of Femininity" does not attempt to provide an unambiguous answer. Rather, it poses a question and invites the viewer to embark on this emotional journey themselves. It is a meeting of two artistic worlds: Anna Bocek and Joanna Sarapata, two different sensibilities that – although each speaks its own language – converse about the same thing: the multidimensionality of feminine nature.

In the works of both artists, we find delicacy and emotionality, but also strength, independence, and an inner energy that often remains invisible to the surroundings.
