Dmytro Shavala (born 1994, Shklo, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian sculptor specializing in decorative and wooden sculpture, creating both spatial forms and reliefs. He studied and developed his abstract artistic language at the Lviv National Academy of Arts, and also participated in workshops at Fonderia Versiliese in Italy. His works are presented at numerous exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad, including in Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, and Italy. Shavala's sculptures can be found in numerous private and museum collections worldwide, and his work is published in art catalogs, including Saatchi Art. As a young artist, he was recognized in the ranking of the Top 10 most interesting young Ukrainian artists. Dmytro currently lives and works in Lviv.
