Aude Herlédan (b. 1966, Paris, France) is a French painter and sculptor who spent her childhood in Congo, grew up in Paris, and continued her education in London. A turning point was her meeting with collector Samuel-Francis Clapp, which directed her towards art. She graduated from École Estienne in Paris, while also winning an award in the prestigious Parsons School competition in New York. Her artistic journey includes living in Brazil, leading UN art missions in Nairobi, and photographic projects in Kenya. After returning to Paris, she worked as a creative director in the advertising industry, while simultaneously studying art history and drawing at the École des Beaux-Arts. She currently lives and works between Paris and Sologne. She is represented by 9 galleries worldwide, including the prestigious Rosenberg & Co in New York. Her works are in collections around the world and are regularly presented at major contemporary art fairs.

Aude Herlédan works primarily in oil on canvas, creating richly textured surfaces enriched with volcanic ash, 24-karat gold, marble, and a proprietary white medium developed in her Parisian studio. Her abstract compositions evoke memories, dreams, and travel experiences, combining technical mastery with unrestrained expression. The artist also creates sculptures from durable and noble materials such as bronze, chamotte clay, and marble, translating the same poetic sensibility into three-dimensional space. Her inspirations from literature, photography, and travel allow her to combine classical training with a modern vision, giving her works a distinctly contemporary character.

Aude Herlédan exhibits her works in galleries in France, the USA, Italy, Spain, and Poland. She regularly participates in major art events, including TEFAF Maastricht, Art Genève, Fine Arts Biennale, and Paris Design Week. Since 2022, she has collaborated with the prestigious Rosenberg & Co – the oldest gallery in New York – where she is one of the few living artists to be represented.
